Gov. Bindow to Complete FIDA Adamawa Secretariat.

FIDA Adamawa visit to Gov. Bindow

Governor Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa on Monday August 07, 2017 pledged to complete FIDA Adamawa secretariat as well as support them to attend FIDA International conference in the Bahamas. He made the promise when he received the delegation of Adamawa Chapter of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) in Government House, Yola.

Governor Bindow who also promised to empower more women and youths in the state, urged women to participate in socio-economic activities, adding that their contributions would add more value to the development of the state.

Bindow also said that his administration had brought political stability as well as re-defined governance to the people. He also noted that the bane of bad governance was insincerity on the part of leaders, adding that he had surmounted that challenge, leading to the construction of 219 kms of roads even against the background of economic recession.

FIDA Adamawa Chairperson, Mrs. Halima Abdulrahma, who earlier appealed to the governor to assist FIDA to complete its secretariat and to attend the forthcoming FIDA international conference in Bahamas in November, applauded the governor for his giant stride in developmental projects cut across all parts of the state.
