FIDA Nigeria hosts a Session at the NBA Annual General Conference 2016

FIDA Nigeria, with support from Ipas, on Tuesday 23rd August hosted its very first session at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference (AGC), Garden City, August 2016 2016 with the theme "Enforcing Laws Protecting Women and Children: Issues and Challenges".
Her Excellency, Honourable Justice E S Nyesom-Wike, Wife of the Governor of Rivers State, was the Special Guest at the session which was chaired by the Honourable Justice A Iyayi-Lamikaran, Chief Judge of Rivers State.
The Honourable Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Republic of Ghana, Nana Oye Lithur, was the lead speaker.
Other speakers at the event were: Rufus Godwins (JP), Head of Service, Rivers State; Ezinwa Okoroafor, International Secretary, FIDA; Omotola Rotimi of the Lagos State Judiciary and Dr Emily Nzeribe of Ipas.
