FIDA Sensitizes the People Of Bwari Area Council On VAPP Act 2015

FIDA Nigeria in Collaboration with LACVAW with the Support of IPAS conducted a sensitization outreach to the people of Bwari area council on the VAPP Act, 2015 on 10th December, 2015.
During the advocacy outreach, the delegates extensively explained to the indigenes the different provisions of the VAPP Act 2015, the need for VAPP Act victims to seek help by speaking out and also give them useful, working contacts of institutions that offer services to VAPP Act victims.
The sensitization was conducted in Pidgin English, in Hausa interpretation and their native language of the Bwari people with the assistance of the secretary of the Esu palace.
The Esu expressed his gratitude to FIDA and LACVAW for bringing the provisions of the VAPP Act 2015 in the simplification to his people.
